On Thursday, 3rd June 2010 St. Sylvester’s GAA Club, Malahide announced its first Nursery Club Survey to parents, guardians and all those interested from the surrounding area in sharing their ideas and views on the club's activities for children aged 4 to 7 years.The announcement was made as the club distributed the questionnaire to junior schools in the area with the help of Padraig McCarthy, Sinead Ahern and Eamonn Fennell.
The new initiative takes place as part of the Clubs ambition to develop a GAA Centre of Excellence for the development of juvenile children in Malahide. Further to rising popularity of the Nursery Club in recent years, it is now viewed that, with the resulting growth comes the opportunity for the introduction of new ideas and initiatives to sustain the high standards the club has achieved so far.
St. Sylvester’s management hopes that the results of the survey will help guide St. Sylvester’s in developing and improving the Nursery to provide the best Gaelic Games (Football & Hurling) for its boys and girls juvenile level.
