Fingal Junior Chamber Learn the Secret of Sales Success

J.C.I. Fingal shall hold Sales Training on Tuesday, 13th April 2010 at 8pm in the Grand Hotel, Malahide. The training session shall cover the following areas:

-Definition of Selling;
-The importance of Questioning and Listening as part of the selling process;
-Structured Selling.

Can you learn to sell?
Selling is a skill that can be learnt with the appropriate training and anyone can develop this knowledge.

Why is selling important?
Selling is an important skill to develop in order to increase business success. Those who learn to communicate effectively win others over and maintain relationships with loyal clients.
Who is providing the training?
J.C.I. Fingal’s guest speaker on the evening is Ken McIntyre-Barn. Ken is the Managing Director of Commercial Excellence which specialise in growing Sales, Brands and People. He is also General Manager for Kantar Retail Ireland which is a global consultancy and training company. Prior to this Ken held various Senior Management roles for well known multinational organisations such as Unilever, Heineken, Wella and Kellogg’s in Ireland and abroad. Throughout his career, Ken has been involved in a number of key change projects, training and capability development, channel / route to market strategy and new business set-up. Ken is currently Deputy President 2010 for Junior Chamber International Dublin.

What is J.C.I. all about?
J.C.I. is a worldwide leadership development organisation that provides a business and social network for young people to develop their management skills. Membership of JCI is open to anyone aged between 18 and 40. Members gain personally and professionally through training and self development programmes. This can be achieved through leading teams, organising events, increasing skills and networking. J.C.I. also provides opportunities to travel and meet fellow members from all parts of the globe. In 2010, members will attend events in Scotland, the U.K., Finland, Denmark and Japan among others. All members are welcome to attend these conferences and training events.
