At this point in time, many articles and news reports have been published regarding the collapse of the bridge at Broadmeadows Estuary. The Chamber of Commerce in Malahide would like to assure all interested parties that we are keeping abreast of progress and plans for work on the bridge on behalf of the local community, local businesses, clubs and of course the protected wildlife in the surrounding areas.
On Sunday August 23rd a public meeting was held in Malahide Yacht Club and attended by all those affected by, or interested in, the events at the estuary. A liaison group has now been established and is being chaired by Al Ryan, President Malahide Chamber, to ensure the interests of the local community are considered and addressed when works take place on the bridge. More information will be published as it becomes available.
