Malahide Book launch 30th November

Around and About Malahide: A guide to historical aspects
This is a new 96 page book by Roger Greene containing about seventy historical pieces about places, buildings, people, events and clubs around Malahide and is profusely illustrated in colour. The book will be launched in Malahide Yacht Club, St. James' Terrace at 8 pm on Monday 30 November by Councillor Ciaran Byrne, Mayor of Fingal. All Chamber members are most welcome to attend.
The book will be on special offer at the launch and could make a nice Christmas gift. Village Books have kindly agreed to stock the book at €10. If you would like to confirm attendance, please email Roger at mailroger@eircom.net.

Author Signing: Michael Murphy Nov 18 @ 7pm

Michael Murphy, RTE Newscaster and acclaimed author of AT FIVE IN THE AFTERNOON will be signing copies of his book in Village Books, Malahide on Wednesday 18th November@ 7pm. All are welcome.

Michael Murphy is an award winning senior television producer/director and newscaster with RTE. His memoir At Five in the Afternoon has been widely read and has received critical acclaim.

Mary Robinson, first woman president of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights called it ‘a beautiful, layered work about the importance of saying, about putting the world of the imagination into words that are true.’
