Irish Soccer Team in Malahide

Malahide is the base camp for the Irish national football squad. Prior to the important game with Georgia, the Irish Team Manager Giovanni Trapattoni and team star Robbie Keane briefed the press at the Grand Hotel. The team train at Malahide United’s grounds and find the town to be a well located but well resourced and peaceful retreat for the team.

Windsurfing Slalom Race in Malahide

After one of the most successful competitive years of competition, the Irish Windsurfing Slalom Series is confirmed for 2009. The ISS Team has put together an even better schedule for the upcoming season.
Back on the calendar are the five events from last year. Neilpryde Group UK/ Surfdock.ie have organized the Irish Sea Challenge. The challenge involves the IWA and UKWA crossing the Irish Sea to battle it out for the Irish Sea Challenge Title. UKWA competitors will make the journey in April to Malahide to kick off the 2009 action.

The event will be hosted at Malahide Yacht Club on Broadmeadows Estuary.
